FIFOG screening Iran’s ‘Inappropriate Change of a Message’

Iran’s ‘Inappropriate Change of a Message’ is attending the Int’l Oriental filmfest of Geneva in Switzerland.

Iranian short animation ‘Inappropriate Change of a Message’ has been attending the International Oriental Film Festival of Geneva (FIFOG) in Switzerland.

Directed by Amir Rashidifard, the short animation is running at the Public Award section of the 15th edition of the Swiss event.

“The rock drawings show animals and a man and a woman. It seems that the woman is following the man,” a brief synopsis for the short title reads.

The short title is a 10-minute attempt to show the history of humanity, all the wars, traditions and the love stories.

According to earlier report on ifilm, Kaveh Mazaheri’s ‘Funfair’ and Rahbar Qanbari’s ‘The Time of Pomegranates’ Smile’ are also in competition at the Swiss event.

The FIFOG is an important cinematographic event in the cultural landscape of French-speaking Switzerland, which promotes cinema, diversity and intercultural dialogue.

It annually presents 100 films of all genres, along with about 60 guests from around the world.

This year’s edition of the event, which is being held online, kicked off on June 4 and will be running till June 16, 2020.
